Merry Christmas Dear Friends and Family

I just want to wish my dear friends and family who are Eastern Orthodox or Coptic Orthodox and are celebrating Christmas on the old calendar (Julian), a very Merry Christmas.  Tonight, January 6, 2016, is Christmas Eve and tomorrow, January 7, 2016, will be Christmas or the Feast of the Nativity.

With my best wishes for a joyous Feast,

Pat

  1. I love to see how Christians from other backgrounds celebrate and honour Christmas. A beautiful icon. We always celebrate 6th January in our family for Epiphany which is particularly special for children in Italy, perhaps elsewhere, as a gift-giving day. Yesterday evening our older daughter cooked a meal for her boys and tonight we are having a special dinner with our other daughter and children before going to the ballet.
