Scavenger Hunt

I'm joining in today for the first time at Made with Love scavenger hunt.  I'm excited to meet some new blog friends.  I hope you enjoy my pictures....Lilly sends her love :)


Circle:
"Circular" water fountain built in 1740 on the grounds of the Hagia Sophia.

Card:
 "Card" describing the Chateau de Lassay in France.

Window:
 Lovely "window" at the train station in Budapest, Hungary.

Art:
 "Art" in a coffee cup from a fabulous coffee shop near my home.

Skyline:
The beautiful, gray "skyline" of my beloved Seattle.

Favorite word:
 My first favorite "word" is Oliver (my grandson), soon to be followed by Sadie!

Movement:
 "Movement" of the ferry crossing the Bosphorus.

Bathroom:
 I cheated a little on "bathroom".....this is an outside faucet in Istanbul.

Car:
 Refreshing rain soaked street with cars.....

Plate:
 This is a "plate" of stuffed eggplant I ate in Istanbul.

Something you made:
 This is the stripey blanket I made for my little grandson, Oliver.

Whatever you Want:
Wow!  After downloading all these photos and adding catchy captions, "whatever I want" is a glass of tea!  

It's been fun to be a part of this scanvenger hunt.  I hope to participate next time!

  4. From your photos we can certainly see that you get around! Love Art, movement and Skyline. (my parents lived in Seattle for a while) Your blanket is amazing, I am a little addicted to crochet at the moment.

    1. Hi Fiona, yes, we travel quite a bit. I think it's because I lived 20+ years in a small town, dreaming about rest of the world! I love Seattle as I used to live in Gig Harbor, about 30 miles south of the city. I too am addicted to crochet. Isn't it a fun hobby? So nice to have you stop by :)

  7. How well-travelled you are! I liked your picture of Seattle as you can see the Space Needle - Frasier was one of our favourite shows for a long time and the Space Needle always featured in the opening credits :-) xx

What a great collection of photos you put together. The last one made me laugh because I know the feeling well! Your grandson is really cute, and that stripy blanket, what a treasure! Happy Easter!

I don't know how I missed your scavenger hunt post, but I'm catching up and enjoyed all your photos, especially the fountain in the Hagia Sophia, the gorgeous blanket and the skyline of Seattle. You must have been high up to take that photo! I think you have sweet grandchildren. Looking forward to seeing your scavenger hunt for May!
