Sign Up for Giveaway on Lilly My Cat

Hello everyone.  It's me, Lilly, writing this post today instead of my Mom, Pat.  Since this blog is named after me, I thought it would be appropriate that I write and let you know how thankful I am that you discovered this blog and have been visiting, commenting and sharing your ideas.

I know when my Mom started this blog, she never imagined that it would take off and get viewers from all over the world.  She's always telling me how exciting it is to see new comments and know that people are stopping by and visiting this blogspot.

As a thank you, I am giving away this strawberry inspired pin cushion crocheted by my Mom and a lovely little card of a sleeping cat  - reminds you of who :)

Mom told me she can't take credit for the pattern since she found the pattern here but she added her own embellishments to the pin cushion.

To enter the giveaway for this prize, just post a comment sharing what you like about the blog and sign up to follow "Lilly My Cat".  Entries from all over will be eligible for this giveaway.  The winning entry will be drawn on May 26th.

As to what else my Mom has been up to, she recently finished this little baby sweater she told you about.

I know she enjoyed making it since it knitted up very fast.  She used Debbie Bliss Andes yarn and she found the pattern here.  The unique thing about this sweater is that there are NO seams whatsoever so the finishing goes by very fast.

That's about all that's happening around here at Lilly My Cat.  Did I tell you that my check up at the vet last week went fine and that I lost two pounds?  I am SO happy with myself.

I wish each of you Mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day and please stop by Handmade Monday and check out all the great ideas.

Love and Meows,
Lilly

    1. I wish Jazz the very best. It's a tough life being a house pet with lots of food, and lots of spare time to take lots of naps. I'm glad you liked the pin cushion. Have a great week.

  7. I love your carer's pincushion and the child's cardigan. She chose a great way to show off the cardigan, (on a china vase?) too.
I hope you're both having a good week.

    1. Hi Dawn, thank you for stopping by and reading my blog. As for the background, I didn't design it - it's a template that my daughter found since she is the webmaster of this blog post. Thank you!
